Rail Crane System

Contract Resources designed and built the Rail Crane for the safe, efficient installation of filters in vessels.

This purpose built piece of equipment consists of a rail system used to hold large filters in place during their installation inside vessels.

The Rail Crane system removes any manual handling issues involved in moving filters to the necessary flange; where space is limited. The rail crane is installed inside the vessel and slides along the length of the vessel, with a holding carriage taking the weight of the filter and able to move the width of the vessel. This combination allows a technician to position a filter in exactly the right position for bolting onto the flange.
