The Decamex® Process
Cleaning of air-cooled heat exchangers consists of spraying the DECAMEX® chemical powder directly onto the aluminium tube bundle, using compressed air. A huge benefit of the DECAMEX® process is that cleaning can be completed on line; without disturbing normal plant operations.
The powder is a dry alkaline chemical which neutralises the different greasy components of the deposit layer. The mechanical action of the cleaning process enables it to eliminate deposits from the aluminium surface
